iPhone Apple so yesterday

There are myriad ways to pay for goods and services today, but one of the best on-the-go payment methods has to be the E-ZPass electronic toll collection system used in seven Northeast states in the U.S. Drivers with E-ZPass transponders don't even have to slow down to pay tolls. They drive at the speed limit in a special lane, which is overhung with receivers that pick up a signal from the transponder on the dashboard, automatically deducting the toll.
With checks, credit and debit cards, and automatic withdrawal options, it's easier than ever to pay without cash. But current payment systems are complicated and time-intensive--checks need time to clear, credit card purchases need to be authorized and signed for, and the receipts have to be stored.
Customers want convenience. Merchants want efficiency and a cheap way to process payments ... more
